The young man Fadi Fahd Deeb was killed on the evening of November 27, 2025, inside his commercial shop in the town of Al-Kiswah, located near the city of Damascus, as a result of being subjected to direct gunfire by an armed group.
The victim hails from the city of Al-Dreikish in Tartus Governorate and belonged to the Alawite sect.
This crime comes amid the control of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham over the area, and within a general context witnessed by several Syrian regions of an escalation in killings and violence of a sectarian nature, alongside kidnapping incidents targeting minorities, amid the absence of any information about holding the perpetrators accountable to date.
