On the evening of Saturday, November 8, 2025, a group of General Security members affiliated with the Interim Authority “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” raided the town of Tal Aran in the southern countryside of Aleppo, where they arrested eleven Kurdish citizens.
They are: Mustafa Abu al-Bir, Omar Abu al-Bir, Ibrahim Nasif, Hassan Hermis, Ismail Tanbal, Mohammed Atto, Ahmed Atto, Ahmed Tanbal, Mustafa Suleiman, Mahmoud Ismail Mohammed, and one unidentified person.
The arrests were carried out without presenting an official arrest warrant.
This incident comes within the context of an ongoing campaign of harassment and security persecution against Kurdish citizens in the Aleppo countryside, aimed at displacing the Kurdish population from their lands.
