Contact has been lost with the young man Jaafar Mohammad Moussa, 25 years old, since Sunday, 7 December 2025, following his departure from his home in the village of Ain Shiqaq in the countryside of Jableh in Latakia Governorate, western Syria, heading to his workplace. Since the moment contact was cut off, no information is available about his fate or whereabouts.
The victim is a young man from the Alawite sect. The party responsible for the abduction or detention of the young man is unknown, and no official information has been issued clarifying the reasons for his disappearance or the location of his detention.
