Citizen Shaban Izz al-Din, from the Alawite community, was killed on September 28, 2025, in front of his shop in the Jab al-Jandali neighborhood of Homs.
Activists accused elements of the General Security Forces affiliated with the interim authority (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham) of killing him.
