Four people (workers) from the Alawite sect were killed in the village of Jadreen in the countryside of Hama, western Syria, after being targeted by gunfire while returning home from work on September 28, 2025.
Activists accused elements of the General Security Forces affiliated with the interim authority (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham) of killing the four individuals.
The deceased are:
1. Ali Hassan Zaydan
2. Rabee’ Hassan Zaydan
3. Muhsin Zaydan Zaydan
4. Yousef Ali Al-Yousef
On Monday, the residents of the village of Jadreen mourned the victims amidst a massive public turnout.
The following villages in the countryside of Hama witnessed a general strike in protest of the killing of the workers: (Bisin – Jadreen – Qfileoun – Al-Jaf’ah – Tal Al-Jaf’ah – Al-Mawa’ah – Al-Rabee’ah – Sayghata – Qfileoun – Al-Humayri – Huwayr – Bahrah – Umm Al-Amad – Al-Ajali – Al-Bajjah – Blin – Al-Qusayr – Khirbet Al-Qasr – Khirbet Arif – Boulos – Kfar Qadah – Al-Buwaydah).
