Civil sources in the countryside of Homs reported the death of citizen Tamer Yousef Arif (45 years old) from the Alawite sect under torture, after his arrest by elements of the “Al-Hulah checkpoint” on September 21.
The sources clarified that his family was notified of his death on September 27, noting that two days after the arrest, elements from the checkpoint carried out a search of his house in the village of Al-Qabu in the western countryside of Homs. During the search, they looted the contents of the house, confiscated his car, and transferred its ownership to one of the elements.
