Arresting party: Members of the General Security affiliated with the Syrian Interim Government (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham).
Place of arrest: His uncle’s car dealership in the village of Tal Aran in the countryside of Aleppo, northern Syria.
Alleged reason for arrest: Listening to Kurdish songs.
Place of detention: He was taken to the General Security headquarters known as “Al-Waha Prison” in the Al-Safira area in the southern countryside of Aleppo.
Current status: He remains under arbitrary detention as of the date of this report.

The young man, Abboud, had left Syria during the Syrian revolution and recently returned to visit his family and relatives in his hometown village.
He was scheduled to return to the Iraqi Kurdistan the day after his arrest following the end of his vacation.
