The young man, Ali Ramez Al-Hajji, from the Shiite sect, was killed inside his uncle’s house in the village of Al-Ghur Al-Gharbiya in the countryside of Homs in central Syria on September 28, after being targeted by elements of the General Security Forces affiliated with the interim authority (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham). According to local sources, the targeting was due to his affiliation with the Shiite sect.
