Four Alawite Youths Killed in Separate Shooting Incidents in Rural Homs and Hama

Four young men from the Alawite community were killed in separate shooting incidents that took place in areas within the countryside of Homs and Hama on June 26 and 27, 2026, according to information obtained by the Rights Monitor Syria platform.

These incidents occur against a backdrop of growing concerns over the continuous targeting of civilians in certain areas of central Syria, amid demands to open independent investigations and hold those responsible for these crimes accountable.

First: Two Young Men Killed Near Akrad al-Dasniyah Village in Northern Rural Homs
According to available information, on the evening of Saturday, June 27, 2026, an armed group intercepted two young men from the village of Akrad al-Dasniyah in the northern countryside of Homs while they were returning from herding sheep, on the road connecting the villages of Samalil and Akrad al-Dasniyah, before opening fire on them, which led to their immediate death at the scene.

Mahmoud Mohsen Al-Abdullah

Yacoub Rajab Eidah

Local sources reported that the area extending between the villages of Tasnin, Kafr Nan, and Akrad al-Dasniyah has witnessed repeated incidents during the recent period targeting men and youths from the Alawite community. Meanwhile, the same sources indicate that no results of investigations or judicial prosecutions against the perpetrators of these incidents have been announced.

Second: Ibrahim Mashhour Nassif Killed in Eastern Rural Hama
In a separate incident, Ibrahim Mashhour Nassif was killed on the morning of June 27, 2026, inside his commercial shop in the village of Al-Kharsan (Ras al-Ayn), which belongs to the Al-Hamraa sub-district in the eastern countryside of Hama.

According to received information, the attack was carried out by two armed individuals riding a motorcycle, who subsequently fled the scene.

Third: Mohammad Yahya Ali Al-Salim Killed in Kisin Village
In another incident, Mohammad Yahya Ali Al-Salim, aged 23, was killed inside a shop he owned in the village of Kisin in the northern countryside of Homs, on the morning of June 26, 2026, according to documented information.
