Local sources reported an assault targeting an Alawite religious shrine in the village of Al-Arida, near the city of Talkalakh in the western countryside of Homs, today, June 29, 2026. Unidentified individuals set fire to the Shrine of Sheikh Nasser Al-Hakim, an incident that constitutes a violation of the sanctity of a religious site belonging to members of the Alawite community.
