Nature of the Incident:
The victim was kidnapped by an armed group described as terrorist and extremist.
The kidnappers demanded a financial ransom of $250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand US dollars) from the victim’s family.
The victim’s family managed to collect and secure a portion of the required amount and delivered it to the kidnappers, but they proceeded to kill him nonetheless.
