Background of the Incident:
He was kidnapped two days earlier while returning from his work at the Syrian government’s Transport Directorate.
His body was found with signs of severe torture and multiple gunshot wounds in various areas.
The body was transferred to Al-Sanamayn hospital amid a security alert in the area.
Previous Background:
During the previous month, he was subjected to beating, insult, and public stripping by members of an armed faction led by “Abu Huthaifa” in the Al-Sumariya neighborhood, as part of a campaign that included arbitrary arrests, beatings, and sectarian slurs and humiliating practices.
